Took a bus to visit the famous Great Wall of China with all the adopting families. Joy talked to us about Chinese culture while riding the bus. We visited a Cloisonne factory in our way to the Great Wall. There was a lot of traffic when arriving to the place where we had to park. Took a gondola ride up to the wall and went sight-seeing. There were so many tourists and so many pesty vendors! The tourist crowd reminded me of Niagara Falls.

Hello, we enjoyed your new pictures - the Great Wall looked great and it looks like Assen is having a wonderful time - he is always smiling. We are headed out to supper at Fish Lips - not Chinese tonite for us. Bet you can not wait to get Sophia on Monday.

We have had such a good time with Cliff and Sandy - it has been a real pleasure to follow your adventure with Assen and Sophia - we hope all goes well - would love to be in China someday ourselves. Our best to the four of you - will will stay in touch with Cliff and Sandy to see that you arrived home in save and fine style.
